Yeah! Bob played Lincoln! He called Tom Hanks a "PUSSY!" That was in 1990, I believe.

And how could you forget...

Sarah Silverman
Julia Sweeney
Michael McKean
Ben Stiller
David Koechner (In "Run Ronnie Run")
Janeane Garofalo
Chris Rock

...I think that's about it.

Ohhh... Which one was that? He was on TV doing a monologue joke on the HBO show he was doing at the time. Wasn't it one of the Ronnie Dobbs episodes? Le'me check...

Oh, okay! That was Season 4, Episode 7: "Eat Rotten Fruit From a Shitty Tree". [MINOR spoiler coming right up for those who've yet to see season four.] He made some bad (intentionally) monologue joke about the President farting.

Come on, man. "The Barry Gibb Talk Show"????!!!! Fucking GENIUS!!!!!! And just the fact that he did a George Gaynes impression -- I mean, I can do a George Gaynes impression, but it just wouldn't have ever occurred to me! Just the IDEA -- whether it's his or not -- of doing a George Gaynes impression... Fucking GENIUS!!!!!! The White Stripes as a crime fighting duo??? BRILLIANT!!! The acoustic song parodies??? ...ehhh, not so much. Kind of a second (DE)generation Sandler. Oh well. That guy gets some POON though! He uses vaginal secretions as after-shave.

If we get into people who were just writers on SNL, we'll be trying to figure it out for-fucking-ever! Dino was a writer at one point. See! Now ya fuckin' got ME doing it!!!

Yeah, I think you're right. I remember a story of him pitching the songs that were eventually done on "The Mr. Show Cracker Barrel" for SNL, but I guess that's right that he wasn't on staff. I think Janeane Garofalo brought him in with the idea, but clearly it didn't go over well enough to get on the show. Or do I have the story COMPLETELY fucked up?

dino pitched Audition (the "can i use this chair?" skit) to snl, i believe... although it may have been conan.
