View Full Version : John Ennis commercial

I was watching tv today and some commercial came on for fed ex. I looked up and John Ennis was in it. I was like "What the fuck" and I busted a confused load all over myself. Anyone else see this. These Mr show cast memebers are popping up in commercials all of a sudden, Bob with Miller, Jay with Spam, and now John with Fed EX. If i see Jill Talley on a scented tampax commercial im going to fucking kill somebody.

Sort of off-topic, but it really is sad to see Bob in beer commercials. :(

Grown-up Superstar for Summer Breeze Disposable Douche: "It make your cunt smell like fuckin' ROSES! Even when you're fuckin' BLEEDING! Now LICK!!!"

That eBay thing is funny. But not $400 funny!

Would you rather see those horrible "guys night out" commercials. I think they are kind of funny in a Mr Show sort of way

damn the bob and his need for living

I don't wanna use the s-word or anything but SELLOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUTTT!

I don't know why you would call him a sellout. Everybody from that show has done things that they probably wouldn't want to do if they had the choice, but when you need work you need work. David has been in every bad movie and sitcom in the last 8 years or so. I don't think that makes him a sellout. Enis did Malcolm in the Middle for a while and that show is pretty terrible. Cut the Bob some slack.

When I said that I thought it was kind of sad, I certainly didn't mean that Bob was a sell-out. I just mean it's too bad that innovative and funny comedians like Bob need to take gigs like that every once in a while to pay the bills. It's the same in any creative profession: the market simply will not support you solely on the basis of high-quality or interesting work.

Sure, Bob's a sell-out. But by that logic, so was Picasso, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Voltaire. Cut Bobby some slack.

Oh right! He was saying sell-out.

See I read it as 'sellooout' and I was like, what the fuck does that mean?

Couldn't give a verdict on the beer commercials though, we in Engerland only get ones about crisps (or 'chips'), chedder cheese and the perfect pint. Sometimes bestiality is involved!

I saw Scott Adsit (the dude who plays the mayor in the Missisippi Fun Bucks sketch and the "I'm a writer" guy in The Greatest Song in the World episode of Tenacious D) doing a commercial for a mini van. I forget which one but I think I remember him getting a fish out of a lake with his teeth or something.
