Hello Capt! Good to hear from you. I'm really behind on the Spiderman series, I haven't even seen the second one yet. But from the reviews, I think the third one was too long and confused, with too many characters. Am I close?
I'd love to do a DVD some day. We don't have too much documentary footage, because we have such a small production it's everything we can do just to get it in the can. However, we have a couple upcoming episodes with "names" and we hope to have a handheld floating around documenting everything. I don't own the show anymore, but Superdeluxe is very good about supporting their artists, so maybe they'll help with a DVD.
Good to hear from you as well ME!!!! I think I've decoded the Max Headroom stutter editing technique after a lot of study. Weird though, since Ron's Big Boss is such a different character it feels different with him. Just the Max Headroom footage alone is fun to watch. Ron can eat soup and make it hilarious.
The '84 episode was a technical nightmare. Even the pre-production involved post-production. And the set and costume was very labor intensive. Our next few are also pretty heavy duty, so I will have no lifestyle for a while. Not like I had one, but daylight is nice sometimes.
Thanks for checking it out.

Marvellous stuff! Glad to hear the the superdeluxe people are treating you well Mike, and I can't wait to see those unpublished Mr. Show photos. CptPlanet is right too, a DVD would be great. I would buy it anyway.
edit: Oh and kudos on the Max Headroom reference.

Does the audio seem low? (It may say by "Brad Neely" but that's a mistake that will be fixed soon which will make this statement pointless.) I hope y'all like it.
I may have a few more unpublished Mr. Show photos laying around. I'll try to post them soon. Don't you die on me BUTM! Live dammit, liiive!

Hey, Upskiii, Im just getting into this thread, I see it once in a while, but there are 23,000 pages, and Im just one man.
This was the first thing Ive watched.
Laughed out loud, and hard, at, "Hey, did I ask you 'Where the beef yet?"
Expertly produced, I know how hard this stuff is to make, I cant even imagine the technical difficulty of creating a picture in picture and having it synch up to the acting.
Absolutely great, both for the appreciation value, as well as the laugh out loud factor.
Make a composite post with all the episodes worth watching, and Ill invest the time and show every one of my four friends. Now that's synergy!

how lame is it that it takes 4 months to post? It's not all my fault: Firefox started crashing on sign in after I updated it, and the newest version crashes every 10 minutes, so I had to install the older version to sign in. Anyone else have that problem w/ firefox? Might as well ask BUTM since the mozilla forum is worthless.
Hey Doctor, belated thanks for the astute review of the 1984 episode. It was really hard to get that picture in a picture, and you are right that Paul had to sync his acting to a pre-taped clip. He made look easy, but it was a drag.
I was gonna post about the new new powerloafing episode that has a BIG star in it, but there is apparently a competing Powerloafing spam thread by JoeWilson. So, now I got nothing to post about. Please watch the episode, it's really funny, and it has a dead body in it.
I promised some Mr. Show pictures a while back, but they're not as good as the earlier ones, come to find out. I'll post them anyway in a minute.

pix

This is Brian saying hello to BJ Porter.

This is the set of "Drugachusettes." A couple things I like about this pic: The stage hand is attaching the pill to the tree, but it looks like he's picking a pill he wants to eat. David looks like he's carrying the prop bong he was just using in a professional comedy sketch backstage to use it in non-professional reality.

This is Bob in between takes of Drugachusettes. He had to wait around in costume while technical stuff was happening, so he just hobbled over with those big feet and sat on a box by himself. He looked so lonely and awkward. Poor little psychedelic haired freak sitting by himself, why don't nobody want to talk to him?
