Strange Season 5 DVD Censorship Issues

So I'm finally getting around to watching the Season 5 DVDs of those Kids. I'm only about half way through, but I've noticed some strange things. There are some words that are bleeped out. If I remember correctly, there are no bleeps on the previous seasons' DVDs. The first three seasons, they used the uncut HBO versions (although it would have been nice to include the CBC edits, as well as the sketches that were EXCLUSIVE to the CBC due to entire sketches being cut). And for Season 4, it seems they used the CBC versions. (It seems by that point the CBC was letting them get away with using the "fuck" word and stuff.) So why for the bleeps in Season 5? And why for the exceptions?

"Exceptions?", you ask. Yeah, sometimes they didn't bleep. There was one where all four Kids in the Hall had a press conference. Everyone was oblivious to Kevin's existence. He talks about how much they love him in France. Blah, blah, blah. Fine, it wasn't "Naked for Jesus". The point is, Kevin mutters, "Fuckin' Kids in the Hall!" at the end. It's hard to hear, but it's there. I wonder if it actually aired like that on CBS in primetime.

Then there was some gay movie that the "Steps" guys went to see. They were complaining about how many times they showed the lead actress's "tits" while never showing whatever Baldwin brother she was married to with his shirt off. Not that shocking that they left in the word "tits". They've been doing that on TV for quite some time. BUT, when they showed her pixilated "tits", one of her nips managed to evade pixilation for a few frames. I'm thinking that probably WAS broadcast like that. Sometimes it's good to have a show that nobody's watching. (By the way, this isn't some SPECTACULAR nippy on godly ta-ta that I'm talking about. It's nothing worth blowing the price of the DVD set on if you weren't gonna do it anyway. I mean, it's not like some freakish, inverted, discolored, saggy disaster. But it's nothing that's gonna get you off. Try the internet. I hear they have actual, honest to gosh PORN on there. And for FREE.)

Also, I never got my towel.

Someone edit this down into something readable for the people.
