New Janeane Garofalo Sitcom

Sounds kind of stupid and made for the current poker fad but it might be good. You never know. I'm sure it will have at least one cameo from Bob and David.

All In Dealt Garofalo

Janeane Garofalo heads to Vegas for a new NBC sitcom set in the world of professional poker.

By Lisa Johnson
Janeane Garofalo has been dealt a winning hand, as she's just signed to star in NBC's comedy pilot All In, a project based on the life of poker champ Annie Duke.

The sitcom, from Warner Bros. TV and studio-based Is or Isn't Entertainment, is about a single mom of three (Garofalo) in Las Vegas who supports her family by working as a professional poker player.

Garofalo will also produce the pilot, along with her managers David Rath and Kara Welker. Lisa Kudrow will be an executive producer, as will Jack Burditt and Dan Bucatinsky.

Garofalo - an actress, a standup comedian and a radio host - will next be seen on the big screen in Marc Forster's Stay. She has been twice nominated for Emmys for her role on HBO's The Larry Sanders Show.

I'll watch this show as long as the poker is true to life and doesn't have crazy "The Gambler" style "my four Aces beat your four Kings!"

i will only watch it if it has short "the gambler" style satirized, surrealist, absurd-handed poker segments, because real poker is FUCKING BORING.

I'll only watch if one episode revolves around terrorists hijacking the casino and the day is saved when someone throws a card and it goes into the ringleader's chest.

or, maybe in an attempt to stop the terrorists, janeane tapes a card to a bullet, then runs and acts violent. when the terrorist shoots at her, the card makes the bullet fly wildly into the leaders brain, out of his hed and down into his heart. then, all of the other terrorists magically vanish, then, the guy she was playing, who had the better hand, folds and winks at her.

Before she kills the arab, she could yell something like, "ante up, motherfucker!!"

Or like there'd be a scene where they are chasing her and she's dressed up as a magician and lead the terrorists into a card trick and before she throws the card, she could be like, "is THIS your card?!"

All hail king komedy kunt.

As much as I enjoy Janeane Garofalo, I can't understand why they gave her a show.

I never liked Garafalo. I've seen her live a few times and never once found her funny.
